Those two or so adorable. It's nice your cat and dog can get that close together. This is the closest mine have been without me needing to intervene.
It's because Riley is motherly. When they were kittens, he wouldn't stop bothering them, always licking and whining when he couldn't get near. I was actually nervous at first because he was too excited! But turned out fine. As they got older though, they stopped cuddling, but once in a while they do. My other cat doesn't though.
I had to do a double take as your puppy looked like mine LOL.
