Created as a logo for private use for a shop that I own in Second Life.
I went through several iterations before I decided that the above is what I wanted to to pass on the message of a friendly professional shop that sells free/extremely cheap full permission products. Criteria that was met as planned:
- The name had to be recognizable and unique as well as being as up-to-date with current signage (puns/play on words are beginning to rise in popularity).
- The colour of the logo should be a fairly neutral "professional" colour. Not too urgent/distracting.
- Must incorporate "furry" elements seamlessly without looking tacky.
- Creative use of negative space (Example: "Fur" in the blue paw of the logo).
- Legible and easily readable font that has a playful, cartoony typeface that isn't too casual/overused (Ala Comic Sans). Custom made vector via Adobe Illustrator.
