I borrowed Darksiders 2 from a friend. It's a pretty good game and it's fighting is much more solid and has more substance than 1, but I sort of lost ambition once I left the first area. The valley of the dead (I believe that to be the name) was cool and all, but it really dropped off and felt completely disjointed from the first bit.

That's where I'm at now. My biggest issue is that now that they are shaping it more as an RPG, they leave the game pretty baron. I like that they added side quests and more merchants and people to talk to, but that still only makes about 5 people in total lol Looking forward to seeing what else they do, though, they improved a lot with the second.

Oh I pretty much despised the first one. I mean, I liked it for the concept; four horsemen come down to signal the apocalypse, but everyone makes an oopsie and things go pretty sour. But the combat got incredibly stale quickly, even when I cheated to get the Scythe early. Plus the game crashed on me before I could beat the final temple and I didn't even attempt to try the disc again. Just Wiki'd the end, haha.

I liked the RPG aspect though. Yeah, it made getting attached to a certain weapon or clothes a really bad idea, but it kept things relatively fresh. But yes, I think I reached the King of the Dead last, and sort of just left to go play Skyrim.
