for those that don't know i recently got in to Warhammer 40K thanks to 
Iridium and i decided Imperial Guard was my stile, so here are the first few units i painted. i still have a lot to learn but i think my first batch of "angry flashlights" came out ok.

Ooh, guard! I'd recomend building around a theme, either Mobile Infantry, Armoured Company, or Aerial Cavelry! IG look GREAT when themed. If you want any tips, gimme an ask, and I'll give you some of the 16 years experience I have!
Here's one for free; Get Imperial Armour Vol 1 2nd Edition. It's LOADED with Guard stuff, and rules for running an Armoured Company!
