Yeah guys.. here it is^^ Thats my lovley Amaranthus caudatus..in english "Foxtail amaranth" or in german "Fuchsschwanz" and my favorite plant ♥
I didn't knew it when i chose Amaranth as my main-nickname long time ago, same for the homonymous Song of Nightwish from 2007.. I found it when i raed a fantasynovel about some Dragons and stuff.. my fav Dragon there called Amaranth and i..dunno.. just loved the name x3
Years later when i started joining Second life I heard the Song of nightwish.. just when i started to change my whole Music Preferences from mainstream-chartmusic to Gothic/rock :3 (thankya Shawn!).
I was so surprised of that, that i googled the name and found out about the ancient, wonderfull Plant. Tha irony is that i'm a completly plant-loving gardener xD
I think thats..yeah.. sort of destiny x3 Scince that i sow it out every year in my garden :3
So now some infos to the painting: Background=acrylics, Plants=oil, Canvas 60x20cm
