I chose to spell it phonetically since I can never figure out how to get those weird accent mark things. I also find it just a tad amusing.

It's perfectly acceptable without the accent, and you can get the accent through either the character map or ALT+0201 for É or ALT+0233 for é.

I should check out the games at some point and see how they played. some of the digimon looked pretty cool just never really caught on

I think he just said the things why other people weren't interested in Digimon but season three wasn't all that bad.
