I prefer continuity when possible. Upon seeing how much Synx's level of detail has improved I knew the original POV looking in wouldnt look as realistic as the next two POVs, so I asked Synx if they'd redo this one with their new level of detail, and they were happy to do so. ;)
I can appreciate when art is done so well, other senses start kicking in. I swear when I saw this, I could almost smell the foul

One day, hundreds of years from now, someone with far too much biotech to play with, will be digging around through the ancient Net Archives and find this, and your other images. Then they'll actually make one of these beasties.. and quickly regret it. *chuckle*

That is true, there were a couple of more that were more arched and leaning but it started to get spammy and I was trying not to obstruct the view. If I wasn't lazy I could have gone back and altered some of the first ones to do that in place of the ones I deleted, but oh well XD
Oh my goodness, such a masterpiece! The part I like about this work is the texture and the details of slimy saliva that is sticking all over the place. Very creepy and exotic. Other than that is the effect of perspective of foreground from tongue (blurred) into the throat (focal point). Excellent work.
