I've been working on my Tulpa and when I'm doing her appearance I'll use the concept of molding her out of clay.
It's a really tactile visualization but I like it.
And even though I've just started I feel almost maternal towards her.
I guess that's what happens when you spend 1-2 hours straight thinking about something.
