An adoption piece for ShotgunValentine, who didn't get their piece for last month's Fantasy-xchange.
So in other words, this is my good deed for the month.
She wanted gryphon creatures in an Autumn setting (the theme for that month was 'seasons') so I was more then happy to oblige.
These little guys are chipmunk/zebra finch based.

Yesh I loved our pair, our female was solid white her name was Kisses, and the male was a gorgeous boy indeed his name was Hershey's. I loved the calls they had ^>^. The grew old though and we honestly didn't know how old they were when we got them so we had them for a few years before they passed on
ansolutely. from what I remember (the last ones died when I was like, 8 or so) they used pretty low voices indoors. it wasn't like a cacophony. we also used to have a green finch, caught from the wild, who would start to sing in a low voice about the level of "living room loudness". it was kind of cute, actually. :)
we used to have little exotic featherballs mostly. can't find them on wikipedia, seems the names I remmeber were trade names for them. at one point during the early 90s they would die pretty fast from whatever ailed those poor birds. I guess it's a mixture of catching them in the wild and badly organized transports. maybe there were local breeders in europe who gave up their business? anyway, we soon gave up on them and gave away the last two birds along with the home-made cage.
I kind of miss them.
