One of the things many folks don't realize about the PCA is that it's not just a testing ground for tomorrow's arena champions. It's also the testing ground for some of tomorrow's newest technological breakthroughs, the most prominent being the "Virtual Teacher" project.
Named after the eccentric engineer who first started the project, DonBarclay (Professor Barclay to the students, of course) has undergone some truly amazing growth over the last four years. What began as little more than an electronic textbook narrator is now a surprisingly lifelike program, capable of adapting to a wide range of situations and problems. While students do find it hard to warm up to a teacher who only exists physically as a bunch of servers somewhere in an undisclosed location, they do appreciate that he's always just a chat window away, able to answer any questions 24/7.
In addition to teaching duties, Barclay also constantly monitors the school's computer network to ensure that no inappropriate use goes on (so file-sharers are pretty much out of luck). He's even available to play just about any game you can install on a computer, and thankfully won't call you a "noob" when he wins, either.
(Oh man, why is doing this stuff so freakin' addictive?)

XD This got me. All the random question a random chatter might ask...although it gives yet another useful thing for those cellphones (except taking compromising pictures...and phoning).
PCA is really like a drug. D: There's always something else left to do.

Barclay: I do not quite understand your line of reasoning. Certainly, we should be able to co-exist without any pretenses of competition or superiority. For me to do otherwise would indicate a flawed impartiality subroutine on my part, which would violate several facets of my intended programming.
To use a more informal vernacular, "I'm cool with it if you are."

Actually, my griping from was more on having to edit a couple of details that clashed horribly with what you had here (a detail I woudn't had bothered with had I not thought your teacher so awesome)
It's fixed now, though, least I think. You tell me: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/308423/

Well heck, I'm not in any position to tell other people what's canon and what isn't. Just the fact that folks like my characters is quite the honor in my opinion, so seeing that the Professor is connected to CeeGee's backstory like that is kind of a shock. A nice shock, though. :)
Well like I said, I only do stuff like this when someone's idea is leet enough to give thi kind of love to, as it were. Plus it'd make more sense for a teacher-type to have that much authority over the school computers (CeeGee used to out and out admin the servers, but this downgrade to her position there makes her a bit more believable, I think.)
