This is another Halloween Sketch commission for 
tornado
This time it was a videogame character, I never though that they´ll ask me to work on the outfit of one of my favourite psychological horror game, Alan Wake.
Is about a writer who´s in vacation with his wife in a cabin on an island. After some events, he woke up on a crash accident, all confused, etc. He found that his wife was missing and he´s searching at the woods to look for her. In the way, he find a page of a manuscript, with his name in there as the author (which he don´t remember writing it, but he remember that the title "Departure" was the next title of his next story) were all the content of that page is becoming true.
For those who likes good stories in a game, I really recommend it ^ ^

I remember playing this game just a bit. But the dark and foggy environment, and the use of flashlight reminds me of Silent Hill a lot, which is my favorite horror series :)
Oh, I talk this too much. XD This sketch atmosphere is very...... well, I can feel that sense of nervousness. Hope there is nothing behind him.
Is a good story though, it has a good balance with the contents ^ ^
But actually I sometimes would like to see my friends play these sort games, such as Fatal Frame. I would hide behind him and peek the game. That is a weird feeling, I wanna see what the game development now but I'm really afraid of the ghosts and the sounds suddenly appearing. My friends always said that he is not scared by the game at all but by me.
That´s exactly the same thing I felt with the game of Calling for Wii. I wasn´t able to play it because I get surprised very easy, and Calling is a game fully of random surprises that makes you get wet in your pants XD But I ended up playing it because the story was nice, sad and kind at the end ^ ^
Luckily, I don't get wet in my pants. XD
Good for you. I think these people who can finish these games are really awesome. Maybe I won't finish these by myself in my whole life. Haha.
The game is about a chatroom called the BlackPage, where they said rumors that you can talk with dead people in there. But then, a person with the nickname "Kuroneko" took all the people from the chatroom into a dimensional world called the Mnemonic abyss, where the dead people walk among the living people, and in that world, you can teleport on different locations with the cellphones. So some people were trying to find a number to get out of the place, and some others are investigating the origin of the mnemonic abyss and about who´s that Kuroneki person.
Is an interesting game that makes you think why, how and what, I like to think about that kind of stuff in misteries.
The game is Alan Wake, that´s also the name of the character, is really good that in my oppinion, it deserved to be somekind of a movie.
And you know: "New" is always "good".
This shades-of-grey-style is something I've not seen from you before and it's a very fresh and new idea. Also, it reminds me of good old MANGAS or old crime novels. ^^
Well, what can I say... this is something new and fresh. COOL concept and even if I do know the game "Alan Wake", I don't think this is a lame idea. NOT at all!!!

Also the grey scale helps a lot to cover the concept of Alan Wake, afterall the game has a lot of grey in most colors at the night events, so it´s something extra that match perfectly ^ ^
