Custom Lion and Tiger Wedding Toppers: Bride
So finally, here's the big project I've been working on for the past month: I made custom wedding cake toppers for 
angrboda and 
therian, who are getting married very soon! This is, of course, the bride half.
These are handmade out of tinfoil, Super Scupley, and Super Sculpey Firm. They are also painted and finished entirely by me.

The inside! Making figures from a base foil armature allows a sculpture to be relatively lightweight yet sturdy, requires less clay, and helps the figure bake evenly. If I made it from clay all the way through, the inside might stay raw even after baking, which can make a piece become brittle over time because of any plasticizers that weren't been cooked off.
