Finally got a chance to finish another picture. :)
I've been wanting to draw Zain again for the last few weeks but I was way to swamped with work to think of anything good to draw, finally came up with this idea.
It's easy to tell what's happening here. :P Zain is enjoying his favorite pastime, surfing. He normally goes surfing with his best friends Zaos and Hanako, but on this particular day Hanako was busy helping out at her parents house and Zaos had just started college that morning.
I love how this picture turned out. Yet I had to redo the island in the background twice before I was completely satisfied with the results.

Bah, tricks have always been there. No one simply did as many. I remember doing a few tricks on my bike back in the 80s before the whole extreme thing came out. My friends and I competed to see how long and far we can ride on one as opposed to two wheels as a test of skill with ones bicycle. These days it has simply been redefined as 'Extreme Sports Challenge!' dah, dah, dah. And they added a stage, and bigger audience and a few pieces of popular culture like music and advertisement. And the sports industry is wondering why they lose money all the time. .
