New fuzzysnakes, clutch 2
This new species is a relative of snakes and the previously discovered species of Fuzzysnakes, but have smaller ears and their fluffy manes do not go all the way down their backs. They are extremely affectionate and like to sit around their keepers' shoulders. An adult can reach about five feet long, but some have been measured at up to seven.
The snakes retain eyelids as well, unlike modern snakes, and their sclera are dark grey. The dot next to each snake's head is its eye color, to make it easier to use the eyedropper.
They are nonvenomous and eat prey as large as rats. They tend to restrict their diet to mammals, but do eat birds and reptiles on occasion. They are very tame in general, although the temperament depends highly on the individual.
Fuzzysnakes are my brainbaby; please don't create your own fuzzysnake without my express permission.
