I worked out how l would layout a scene based on the journal. Instead of bring on a bus its at a terminal ot sorts. The little girl crouched backwards on the chair just peeking over it hands lightly gripping the back. The look on her face is of amazement. "look at this amazing thing" is going through her mind as she sings.

Her grand mother watches on with her hand on the girls back making sure she doesn't fall back. Her expression is that of maternal pride. The infants child is looking down at her child one hand on the side of its carrier with a similar expression on her face.
