Bloodi Okami Style
Ok... let's return to more "digestible" art for you poor sensible souls...
I had finished playing "Okami" a whole while ago but didn't manage to finish my planned game review nor any art considering it. And I don't care if you roll your eyes about this being fan art. :p I like doing fan art once in a while. Hrmpf.
I thought about what a celestial brush technique Bloodi might represent and I thought it was suitable to let him be the god of chains, immobilizing enemies, fixing stuff and so on.
That was really a fun piece to do. :3

EDIT: I removed the black outlines of the red markings, but somehow FA won't show me the new version of the picture. What am I doing wrong? ;_;

Ah... nun das ist mir auch passiert. Wenn man derzeit etwas hochlädt und danach das image austauscht, dann sieht es so aus als habe sich nichts verändert. Ich hab meinen Loki dreimal hochgeladen aber... es änderte sich nichts, also hab ich ihn einfach nochmal separat hochgeladen und mich entschuldigt.
Bei deinem Bild muss ich sagen, dass ich keine schwarzen lines um die roten Abzeichen sehen kann - es könnte also sein, dass der wechsel nur für den Besitzer des Accounts selber nicht zu sehen ist. Wäre merkwürdig - aber durchaus denkbar, nach dem was wir hier haben.
Und nochwas... argh! Ich könnte sowas nie, ich finde das absolute spitzenklasse. Schon das Lining hat mich umgeboxt, aber das Endprodukt ist mal wieder.... gemein gut. *fg* Thumbs up und fave!

Though I haven’t played the game myself, I do think it’s really neat to see Bloodi in an Amaterasu appearance. I think you did really well with the fur swirls and the oriental style blue flame around the omega disk on his back, as well as the red painted markings on his fur, particularly the omega on his forhead. Also cool, is the style of the background and the subtle blue sun figure centered on Blooditerasu’s front, expanding outwards.

I leaned heavily on art that has been created for the game. I have scans of the book at home and the aura/rays as well as the clouds were already used in there. What I did though was altering the colours from yellow (original) to blue (my choice).
All the swirls and thick stylized lines were really fun to do and I enjoyed myself a lot during the process of creating this piece. :D
