It does remind me of the plate legs in game that appear as normal armor on males...But are a skimpy thong on females.

Embarrassing to wear...And my Pandaren rogue wound up finding the leather daisy duke shorts a while back.

I wore those only as long as it took to buy an upgrade off the auction house....

I don't see any problem with skimpy fantasy armor for females. Every day of my life I see women in clothes, clothes and more clothes... and I can do nothing about it. But at the end of the day, when I want to forget about life for a while, what do I want to see? Women without clothes. Because its fantasy, not reality, fantasy. And the last time I checked, fantasy is mostly nicer than reality.

Glad to see I'm not the only one tired of female armor that looks like it came from Frederick's of Hollywood. That's one reason why I like the cover art for several of the Warhammer 40K books, like James Swallow's Sisters of Battle series; women in armor that is actually protective.

Depending on your setting and general access to armour in a society's fighters it might not be too bad... nah, who am I kidding? So much double standard out there.
