Exactly why I like your models a lot. Laying another heavy word on you, verisimilitude. If my character were modeled by you, he'd look probably as or better than the lizard guy in the latest Spiderman film.

So I was wondering... How do you model the inside of the mouth? Do you just kinda work your way into it from the outside or do you build it separately and attach it later? And how deep do you typically make the 'throat' before cutting it off?

Yes, I always work my way into throats... Especially in sexy ones like this xD
I started with a simple sphere and all this just pushing and pulling of dynamesh.
I usually stop modelling the throat at the point when it can not be seen from outside. But for this creature I'm going to model the full throat, the stomach, all the guts(and even the filling of the guts too) and cloacal opening. All the body insides, ready to explore!

Looks like this is headed in the right direction!
