“My point is valid and your argument is weak at best. I respect a person who uses his mind even if he doesn’t agree with me, but since you refuse to see reason and logic I shall sway you with a putrid, writhing mass of black magic that shall forever consume your soul. May it bring you an eternity of screaming agony, as well as that uncomfortable sense that you’re being stared at.”
Someone recently asked me if I design characters with white, glowing eyes so that I don’t have to draw eyes. The answer is no; eyes are actually one of my favorite things to draw and color. This just so happened to be one of the next themes, so I decided to do an image with as many eyes as was reasonable.
There’s 282 in this picture, by the way, not including Hellkitty’s. I couldn’t help but count them. X3

Drawing eyes is more fun digitally and they turn out better that way, so I did this image purely in PS. Normally I wouldn’t do shading on a Hellkitty piece, but the tendrils needed it to make any sense whatsoever. lol

I love eyes, but they generally have to look somewhat transparent (which probably has something to do with my affinity for clear things like glass and crystals). You know those Turkish good-luck eyes? My dad used to have a HUGE one like 12cm across that he used as a Christmas tree decoration. When I was little I was convinced that one day I would figure out how to steal it so that it would be hanging somewhere all year round. But then it got lost and I was all of the sadness. T.T I didn't see another one for years until one of my high school teachers had a tiny one on a necklace (about as big around as a push-pin) that he got in Greece. Then my Mom went to Turkey and got me a journal that has one on the cover and it is probably to this day still the coolest thing I own. It's got a hook-latch and other creepy things, too. I need to figure out how to put new paper in it because I used it all up. ^^;
Naturally, I was the happiest derp in the world when I figured out how to make resin fursuit eyes. lol. I'm surprised I haven't created like a zillion of them by now.
