Have you ever considered to interpret Dante's book? It'd be nice to see your visionary lens on the novel contrasted with Gustav Dore's work. You'd seem to have a productive technique to take on such an illustration.
The sketch is wonderful. The female figure parallels a column in the mist, like incense in a catholic church. Though the back and shoulder tilt doesn't as right if focused. Then again, in contrast with the whole of the face, its in good disregard. Like the columns, the focus is the capital. In so, the focusing in the details of the head is definite for a successful focal point.
Seeing these successive images is always a subtle joy. I both envy and admire it. Always, in reverie like a story.

I have not considered that though with the suggestion I may in the future. It would be fun that is for sure!
Thank you very much, and I agree about the shoulder and stuff. I just need to put more time into my drawings in general I feel. I sketch something like this in about 15-20 minutes and then just rush and color it without really nitpicking. Haha!
