Thanks, that impact scene was a last minute addition, and apparently a better one than I thought! I was worried some people might not be able to understand what that pile of squiggly lines was.

Hehe, I like the humour and style - although I had to think about it for a second, as the eyes of the deer can be confused with the headlights of the cars- but I think that also is a cool effect to disorientate the reader.

Being Canadian (and a northerner, no less), I got a kick out of this. Except from where I come from we have moose instead of deer, and the moose tends to win when coming up against a car...

Oh believe me, we have plenty of moose too. It's just that the deer's lemming-like insanity in the face of danger was inspiring :) They're so silly.

The moose here win MOST of the time, but truckers here traditionally outfit their rigs with massive bush-bumpers and grill gaurds. Nothing wins against those...

Hehe, the non-cartoon style was an experiment... Turned out better than I expected :)

I love how, you managed to make everything look exactly as it would, hitting a real deer.
You have a great talent for comics liek this, and If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you if you have a little advice on using art programs.

Advice? Man, I may just be the last person who could help you out... A lot of it just comes down to the basic drawing and coloring principles I learned at art school (and am still learning...)

So... well, for this comic especially, it's all about speed and being confident with the marks I've made. As you can no doubt tell, I didn't agonize over the exact shape or color of things, I've just left everything messy and full of photoshop brushstrokes, which works well enough.

I doubt that will help you, but I really don't know what to tell ya :P
