Recently, I was inspired to sketch out a few things I had floating around in my head, soooo.... I did :P Then I thought, 'Why not take pictures of the stuff I drew and upload them to FA, and see what others thought of them?' -A bad idea, given I can hardly draw a straight line, lawl X3
Anyway, this is the first of four pics I have - three weapon concepts, and one artsy (if you can call it that X3) symbol that came to me out of thin air. This one's the first of the three weapons, a little something I like to call the Buster Sword. It's meant to be a light yet powerful and somewhat versatile weapon; It's made largely for melee-range encounters, as you can guess by its long blade, but it can deploy a small barrel from the central section for a long-range attack. Don't be fooled by it's small size, though; the high-velocity projectiles it fires can pierce through an inch of solid steel! Speaking of metals, the weapon's blade is forged of high-grade titanium alloy, and contains a core of solid iron in the base, which gives the weapon superior balance; as if that wasn't enough, the edges are honed using a high-powered laser cutter, allowing it to slice through flesh (not to mention most conventional armors!) like a hot knife through butter.
The weapon's not without its faults, of course. It was mainly meant for up-close battles, with its long-range ability meant to help keep more distant opponents at bay as you close on them. The central section can hold up to 8 buster shells at once, but it's incompatible with clip systems - obviously, it's make the weapon look awkward, and feel it too. In addition, due to the intense speed at which each shot leaves the barrel, it requires a brief cooldown period between shots.
Nevertheless, this is one intimidating sword. You sure as hell don't wanna be on the receiving end of this lethal sword!
-Oh, and that mark on it? First, I'll explain that later; and second, this particular one belongs to my fursona Dimitri, so hands off! XD

(My eye is actually a small unit, about the size of a ping-pong ball, with a series of small metal connectors that attach the eye to an implanted synthetic retina, and those connectors are quite sharp and pointy, about an inch long apiece)
*before I realize what he's doing, he's already pulled my eye out and swallowed it - and those connectors attached to it are a serious hazard to him!* Agh!! Rory, NO!! Don't swallow-- Oh, dammit...! *already he's showing signs of distress. Grabbing an eyepatch, I hurriedly rush him out of my condo and down to ground level, heading to my 2012 Ford Mustang GT to try and get him to the hospital as soon as possible before the eye hurts him*

AAGH!! *winces at the earsplitting cry, folding my ears back* Oh no, what now? ...Mmm, poor tyke must be hungry. Good thing I started keeping some of Can's milk in the fridge for them. *takes him back upstairs to prepare a bottle for him, trying to comfort him all the way - and not letting him try to swallow my eye again*
*watchung him chug down the milk as though his life depended on it, was actually a little amusing. Chuckling I pull the bottle away momentarily to let Rory catch his breath, then resume feeding the little D-Dog/fox hybrid.* Heheheh, look at you go, kiddo! You'd think you were simply starving! *soon the first bottle's been emptied into his tummy. I set it aside, grab a second bottle and keep feeding him*
