Meh, I think that all it was (what caused the "evil twin" incident) was a simple matter of crossed wires in an attempt to splice the memory downloader into the circuitry of the bio-replicator. A simple fix... once I... rebuild... it... Oh, right, it exploded when that happened, leaving my evil opposite (and shrapnel). Whatever. I can MacGyver another one together out of spare parts.

...Oh, and I've learned (the hard way, for the most part) that weird things can happen with just about anything, be it magic, science, or just plain everyday life...
