WARNINGI for one welcome this new Daria pony race.
The first thing my mind went to while watching the Mane 6 interact with the Crystal Ponies.
I know they're lethargic and deadpan because of some spell, but here's a Daria pony regardless.
I think Jane would be a unicorn because of her artistic nature and could levtate many paint brushes or items for junk sculptures. And Daria would be an Earth pony because of her iconic 'plain' character and her resourcefulness. She also tends to have a 'thick skin'.
Her cutie mark would have something to do with writing.
ANYWAY! I thought too much about this while drawing it.

I went through the whole color wheel looking for what would look okay. In the in this color won out because I have a soft spot for the blown and blue combo AND the main Crystal Pony they showed in the MLP S3 preview was this kind of blow and she's that one that made me think to finish this Daria off as a Crystal Pony.
But you're right I was worried about her colors, but in the end blue just goes with all those colors.
