My sixth and final attempt at solidifying this idea I've had for a while.

This was fun. Let me tell you how I did things.

I made that clap myself! I clapped in front of my mike about 7 or 8 times, then I sliced the sound, creating individual claps, then I layered them, then I separated each clap by a few milliseconds so it sounds like a couple people clapping at their best attempt at unison. I then compressed the claps because things get loud and muddy when you pile on the same frequencies over and over again.

So I guess the main idea behind this project was to not quantize anything, giving the project a more organic feel. And I'm happy because it really feels like I've created an organism rather than a synthetic being.
