Eyes bigger then stomach, as the saying goes.
I do quite enjoy the smaller pred scenario and avians are awesome! Great work on this Fidchell!

I saw a video of a cayman that swallowed as much of an iguana as it could and then had to lie there until enough digested to make room. I've also seen fish with tails sticking out of their mouths, and road runners with lizard tails hanging out. So it does happen in nature, though usually not with prey larger than the pred. 83

So...your characters DO have limits! :P

Typically the thought of half-digesting someone before taking them all down is a bit graphic for my tastes, but the comic as a whole is presented so well and comically enough that it doesn't seem to really sink in.
