Tbh, I'd watch the show if they used a more traditional form of animation. But if it went as far as to include this painterly look, yes. I'd watch the show.

Using flash is a good idea. But I still think they could add more details, like directional shading and more. I like MLP as it is of course, but I'd still love a future generation with fluid visuals and more dark, realistic and intense stories heh.

Personally, I find animation using simple line and color templates to be lazy. So I'm not too impressed nor do I even care for flash animation. I enjoy frame by frame animation, not editing of placement.

I'm ok with anything that looks good in the end, as well as finding ways to make it easier to create something without losing quality. Although for MLP the style is a bit too simple, but I like it as much for other reasons too.
