The Skybound have settled upon the first non-hostile island of the Dreamscape Sea... more or less. There are a bunch of pesky imps running around, and no one seems to know who or what exactly they are. They appear to be spawn of the Psychoblast legion, but there are very distinct differences in their appearances. Regardless, they're a hefty problem marring the lands of the Showstoppers.

The Showstoppers are a friendly race of well... They're the Sidewinders. Apparently, according to Skybound's new acquaintances here, the Sidewinder lands made up the entire sister region of the Showstoppers. The two were at harmony with one another for a vast majority of their existence. Their lands were split apart over the course of years by an alleged mist of dreams. It can only be described as a forced push into a secluded world. Granted, they have their differences. For one, the Showstoppers are a much more energetic, free-spirited people. They're brighter, in that they like to put on dazzling light shows which the Sidewinders (remember them utilizing neon lighting to compensate for the lack of sun) can only dream, no pun intended, of. On this island within the Dreamscape Sea, the Showstoppers were forced to adapt to sunlight. In addition to that, they have a slight demon problem.

This new enemy never relents. They're simply known as Nightmares, and are woven into existence every day for every individual trapped within the Dreamscape Sea. This is horrifying news for the Skybound. From what they know, they have gotten themselves trapped in a dream, and that it had consequences for everyone. The Showstoppers clarify that this Nightmare thing is only a theory.

How can the Showstoppers and the Skybound all exist within the same dream? They are only so far within the Dreamscape Sea. Thus, minds are aware of one another. The Showstoppers cling to this concept, longing for companions... So, in essence, they also cling to the Skybound, having been saved by an accumulation of Nightmares. (Or... Dreamons... Huh.) The heroes vow they will find a way out of the Sea. They even decide to take a Showstopper hero with them just to see how things turn out for the later islands they might encounter.
