Oh my... I just did have to ask, didn't I?
Sometimes things that seem tragic to us happen for some greater reason unknown to us. Poor drake looks a bit beat up, but he shall live to paint again, perhaps something greater than the last?
I'm not sure what this was an expression of for you, but whatever it is, do not give up, my fellow dragons. Lessons in life are to be learned from and improve upon, as long as you do not give up and strive for the betterment of things. Hang in there. *offer warm hugs*

*reads the above comments* If I understand correctly (and please forgive me if I don't), you had some negative feelings about your art? *sits down and helps move the stones away* Wanting improvement in your work is good, but don't be too hard on yourself.
You possess a skill I never will. Be grateful for what you have, and strive to improve, but don't be so rough on yourself. Also, there's nothing wrong in having pride in your work, so long as you're not boastful, and I've not heard that you are. *finishes moving the rubble* I hope you feel better and remember how to like your art again. I certainly like your art.

I'm glad it's better. I know art can be stressful, especially when you want every detail just right, and have so many people who want your art. Try to relax and take it one day at a time. We'll understand. Your skills are a gift...you create very wonderful art with them, and we appreciate what you do very much!
Really? I see talent I'll never possess, and an ability to portray feelings and emotion through art that speaks to the viewer! Really, you judge yourself too harshly.
It may be "sad feeling" art, but the power with which you portray emotion is amazing to me, as well as others, and we appreciate it greatly!
If you ever need to remind yourself how truly awesome your talent is, look at my pencil drawings in my gallery. (The poorly-photographed ones, because I have no PC or scanner.) It's taken me over ten years to get to that level of mediocrity. I will never have your talent, and I realize that...but I still draw because I like to.
I like your art because you do very well at it. It's well-done, powerful, and portrays emotion in a way I can relate to. I'm sure others feel the same way. *offers a friendly paw if you ever need it* :)

In my opinion your ArtWork is looking so detailed and fantastic and especially the deep meaning behind your ArtWork is impressing me my friend
Your ArtWork is looking so detailed and realistic and everyone can feel the atmosphere and the feelings in your ArtWork and of Rasta! I think that every single one who is watching your amazing ArtWork can feel the way Rasta is feeling: In your first ArtWork of this series you´re showing the inspiration and the fun while drawing and that drawing is a way to show himself/herself and his/her own feelings and emotions! But unfortunatelly I can speak of own and Minas experiences there are sometime unfair conditions like the computer is going down without saving the latest progresses...
In my view the wounds on Rastas body are showing the efforts of the work until the moment everything was falling down and the sad and disappointed facial expression is showing "Why is this happening to me? Does my efforts were for nothing?" Of course moments like this are sad and disappointing but don´t lose heart! Even if you have to begin everything again - the result is the appreciation for hard work, endurance and willpower
*is hugging you to cheer you up and is seeing the little wall which Mina is building* Awwww ^___^
Don´t lose heart
P. S. Your artist comment is fantastic X3
