I got this at my local market today and i have no idea where this could have come from. Its an unofficial 12in1 gameboy cart. It works and all the games are in their original state (no logos or copyright info removed) Most of these games are in Japanese apart from tetris, super mario land and space inveders. Any ideas?
If you want me to make a youtube video about this, i will

Chinese pirates have no rhyme or reason most times and often put some really strange stuff out. I remember being a kid and going to the mall and seeing a place selling a pirate nes (it was a pretty common pirate unit, too, I found pictures of it online, can't remember the name now to save my life) in the late 90s (right around when the n64 was new) XD
It came from China, and there use to be a ton of them out there. This is pretty much how one would pirate games back in the days before flashcarts and SD cards, because you could get a number of games in one card for like, $20. They could be of good quality sometimes, but often they were pretty bad, since the makers used cheap batteries in them to hold the same states. They made similar cards for the NES and SNES as well as Gameboy Color.
But they aren't trying to make it look TOO official, because if someone called Nintendo up to complain about a 12 in 1 "gameboy" card, Nintendo would launch an investigation and such. It's kind of how like iPhone bootleggers in China name their phone the HiPhone or PiPhone. It's enough to get the brand recognition but not enough to show up on the companies radar too strongly.
I have a pile of GB multicarts I've picked up over the years :)
Oddly enough 3 of them contain Super Pika Land.
But one of them actually contains Sonic 3D Blast 5 :D
the rest is just generic GB games, but some interesting titles too.
Also found a pirate cart of Resident Evil Gaiden.
I have a few that say GAME, some that say COLOR GAME and even some without any text on the cartridge mold at all.

I've found dozens of NES ROMs like this, which I can only assume came from cartridges like this one.
In some of the ones I've found, there are simply homebrew games on them - other times, I've found direct ripoffs of other games, like Ice Climber and Excitebike clones.
Some of them are downright absurd, though - hundreds and hundreds of pirated games on one cartridge. o.O Those ROMs usually only contain the front-end launcher, though - the games themselves aren't included. As to why anybody would actually bother to dump those in the first place... Curiosity's sake, I suppose?
Either way, it's not official Nintendo merch, but it's still a pretty cool little artifact! I'd hang on to it!
