I suddenly remembered today that I didn't refinish or sand the top of the cabinet project I'm currently working on. So the top you can see is the original Varnish and blonde stain that covered it's whole surface. And from this you can imagine at just how rough, discolored and damaged the cabinet as a whole was before I got my paws on it. And the side that you can see is a Gunstock wood stain with 4 coats of Verathane Gloss Polyurethane, I had just finished putting on the 4th coat before taking this, but it's luster should remain constant since I now have 1 coat more than recommended 3. Hopefully with this picture you can imagine what I had to start with and with the other pictures I've posted you can see what I've made of it.
