I feel a story coming on
TL:DR-ers synopsis here, it took an unusually long time to get this back after paying for it, there was very little communication, process was not entirely pleasant although I am happy with the badge.

I first contacted the artist for this badge on July 15, 2012. I just got this yesterday. It is October 15 today. almost 3 months to the day.
I am supremely happy with how it turned out and think it is super cute but the length of time and lack of communication really kinda got to me by about the two month mark. I understand that life happens. But if I am a paying customer I do expect to be treated as such, with a bit of customer service.
I asked for this in the first place in response to a journal asking for help in order to raise funds. Even though I mentioned it when I first contacted the artist it was never acknowleged and was totally brushed off. I wasn't expecting anything extra, but a hey, thanks! I DID need what I was asking for after all would have gona a long way to ensuring that I might buy into one of those types of journals again...
