I put a new computer together for lorelei when she last visited me. One of the perks of having a geeky boyfriend, he'll put together and optimize a box to your liking - I even found a bright pink case, as girly as can be, at her request.
This was the weekend after the Orange Box released, and before she left for home, I convinced her to play Portal. She actually stayed later than she intended because she was determined to finish the damn thing. It was adorable.
She went home and bought Portal by itself; she's run through it two more times. Total addict. This quick-and-dirty piece, with all of its perspective errors, is for her.

(actually, I think the game may have that particular "vendor" set of quips turned off for the turrets, but they're kinda' funny. ^^; Would be useful in a homebrew map that has an HEV suit or a health meter - have a "good" turret that behaves like all the others, but charges/heals you, or gives you ammo when it targets you...)
