thanks to
Elka for naming Zibri Dream's children "Ziblings".
Zibri's had many chidlren along the way (he's a blend of demon AND male dog, he can't help himself). But these are the only two important ones, the only ones who have the ability to be HEIRS to his magical powers.
Mushi and Blue.
Blue- one of a litter of 2, from Zibri's frist girlfriend Opal (when they were both teenagers an not ready to raise puppies). He got his name from the day he was born and handed to Zibri, who took one look at him with suprise and said "blue..." as his fur was indeed, blue (not a normal color in Canid Earth). He and his perfectly normal brother were given up for adoption and sent to the Middlelands to live perfectly normal lives. He's rather embarrased about his blue fur and gets teased often. He thinks its because his mother (whom he has met) dyed her fur too often, and the dye somehow affected him, he has no idea it's because of the magical heritage from his father (whom he hasn't met). He likes basketball and girls, does ok in school, and is an average nice kid. Zibri is afraid to get involved in his life other than to send checks to the adoptive parents, because Zibri thinks he will only mess things up for his son. Blue, like most Middlelanders, does not believe in magic.
Mushi- born from a random fling Zibri had with an island girl while he was supposedly married to Moero, Mushi is well aware of exactly who and what she is. She's a few years younger than Blue. But she fully embraces both her father's good and bad sides, and powers. She can communicate with insects (her name means "bug" in Japanese), but not with normal people. To those without magic, she is deaf and mute. To those with, she talks directly into their minds (sometimes making them doubt their own sanity). Despite all of this, she's takes great delight with everything around her. she's a bit like Zibri's mother was, who had the belief that the world was beautiful and all people are good. On her island, she's considered a shaman.
on the art itself- this is all traditional, no computer alterations (other than scanning it). Its on fireworks bordered paper that I used to use for writing letters. I painted over the part where you're meant to write with watercolor and acryllics, and there is marker and colored pencil over that.
