This was a commission for a pleasant fellow I'd previously been commissioned by at MFF. The piece was for a friend of his, a picture of his chakat kid meeting a young dragon for the first time out in the forest. I had a lot of fun with this one, and seem to be gaining more patience for more lengthy processes in real media. It was done in mostly watercolor, some color pencil, and a bit of acyrlic and is on an 8 1/2 piece of bristol.
This picture reminds me of this instance in very early gradeschool when my classmates would tell me that I'd never be an artist because I couldn't color inside the lines. Well... I STILL have trouble coloring inside the lines. But I don't think I'm too terrible at it otherwise ~_^
I'll have to ask the commissioner if it's alright to make prints of this. If anyone is interested, note me, and I'll do so.

I don't know where to start praising, I think I'll better give you my initial thoughts...
"Whu? Who... what are you?"
"Whaddayamean? Never seen no dragon before, lass?"
"What's a draggan? And I ain't no lass!"
"..."
Just all around you did a wonderful job on this one, the bodyes and details are well done in this :3
I don’t have the link, but someone else took hibbary’s beautiful work and turned it into a very nice gif file where the chakat gives the dragon a pat on the head.
I love this!!!
^__^
Aww.. I just love this one so much!! ^^;;
Very pretty image though... but I've only ever seen one image of a tuar that I liked... I have a little prejudice against them for incredibly personal reasons, especially chakats... since the anatomy just kinda erks me... makes no sense. I gotta admit that it's a nice chakat though, but for me, the dragon in this earns all the love... I can't understand how you can get such a perfect expression on a reptilian face…
If you were ever currious, the one and only tuar image that I fell in love with was this: http://silverbobcat.deviantart.com/.....forest-7117234 (I also love to plug my favorite artists)
^^ This is gorgeous in so many ways....
Beatiful Ambiente, Its like I can feel what the dragon is feeling right now xD...
The Dragons Wings are a bit 'lank/small' but maybe its intended to.
So just thank you for your amazing skill and perseverence ! ;3

I also keep forgetting to post my own line in here about how great you 'watercolor'
(and while partly done, the tale of those two running into each other still isn't done! (dang slow excuse for a writer! ))
"The heckies is this???"
