
This was waiting for me in a jar when I got home. It was found in my house while I was at work.
These look like rather unassuming dark brown spiders from a distance.
Closer inspection and some extra light reveals a world of detail.
Note the eye pattern and large chelicerae.
Don't let the size fool you. Its leg span is under 2cm.

Nope, not a mygalomorph. I'm not sure I have any mygalomorph species here (Although I was almost fooled by a Kukulcania hibernalis until I figured out what it was).
While the chelicerae are large and look like they come straight down, they actually do cross each other at the fangs. I unfortunately wasn't able to get a good angle on this.
