When I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, this is generally not what I want to find there waiting for me.
Now I cannot sleep since I feel like there are spiders crawling all over me.

Also as an FYI. I am mildly agoraphobic. in that I am totally cool with them outside, but I start freaking out more when I am in a small space with one in my field of vision, and it gets worse the closer I am to a spider and the small er confined space is.

I'm like you, I can deal with them outside, but the minute its in my house its all out WAR on the bugger until I can get it outside or the dog or cat see it. Out apartment complex had a breeding ground going on the entrance to our building not to long ago, I had to walk around to the back entrance, roughly a block, just to get inside. Finally they removed the canopy thing and they all went away.
We've got farm land in front of our portion of the complex, had a 4 foot snake in our friend's unit a month or-so ago... But I must admit, I'd rather deal with the creepy crawlies around this part of the country than deal with the Centipedes and Bark Scorpions back home!
