Apparently, with Ssvanti, he commissioned someone who did NOT agree to let the artwork be cross-posted, so now on FA it must be expressly spoken between parties that cross-posting is definitely OK, not assumed just because you commissioned it. Copyrights mean the artist still can insist they totally own where it appears, technically.

Unless contractually it was "work for hire," which usually means a much more expensive commission - you basically released ALL copyrights, so the art could be made into mousepads, coffee cups, T-Shirts, prints, posters, everything without your OK or receiving a penny. (Including derivative work, cut and paste and photoshopping it up.)
