This. Literally took me ALL night to do...

Not sure if that's sad or not.... But it's progress.

I looked through a few tutorials and chatted it up with a few experienced artists... and I think I found some easy techniques. Sai is lovely for inking once you figure out what you're doing :>

Anyway... blah blah... This is an ahuizotl, a legendary creature who lives in underwater caves. It makes a sound like a child crying to lure in it's prey. It eats anything, but prefers the flesh of man, especially teeth, nails, and eyes. It is covered in fine almost neoprene like fur, smooth and shiney. It has for webbed hands and is extremely dexterous, having an opposable thumb on all four hands. It's tail is long and paddle like with a fifth clawed hand at the end of it's tail which it uses to grab prey and pull it under water.
