I think the reason why the Lizard looks the way he does, in addition to making him easier to portray speaking, is to make people not sympathise with his Reptilian side. It was intentionally repulsive, I think. :P

If Curt Connors became an impressive, powerful, intimidating, possibly 'sexy' Lizard in the movie, and released the mutagen to turn those people into Lizards like that and not the versions seen in the movie, everyone would have wanted him to win, I think. His intentions were good when you look at the big picture, in my eyes at least, but I wouldn't wanna be an ugly Lizard and have still-Human people fear and hate me.

haha~ Good point. If a bunch of people were turned into ripped, 'sexy' lizard by the Doctor, I would just hail for him in the theater. Oops, sorry to neighbors and spider-man.
Nevertheless, I still hope that the lizard in the movie used the design with a reptilian head since that would make the movie much more attractive to, at least, me. HAHA~

Out of all the Killer Croc renditions, you chose the MOST EPIC one of all! The shading is done really well, and I love the glow in his eyes. I think if they ever decide to make more batman shows or games they take a look back at this guy for a few pointers on how he's done right. =D
