The eyes are really intense and he's somewhat intimidating, yet the blue shades make it seem more calm. I like it.

I agree 100%. It's kind of like the lion has been possesed, but not in a bad way. Very cool.

With the white pupils, it looks like they're sort of mirroring the moon above. Or two additional stars. Sweet stuff. ^_^
