I miss this game so much.... I can't wait for a Remake if it ever happens...
This is one of my All-time favourite pokemon battle themes.
I used mainly Brass, Woodwind and String instruments, along with some Ad Synthesis. This is the result~ :3
I did not want to differentiate from it too much to destroy the feel of the track, I just wanted to put some new vigour into it, Re-new it a little bit if you will.
Whenever I listen to this, I think of it as more a re-arrangement for a Pokemon Collosseum sort of game. x3
I tried to make it end nicely, I TRIED! :P

For synthesis, the VST's I use are the ones from Cubase 4, Albino Synthesizer, and one called peach something.
I combine these synths with preset. midi instrument sounds to make an even wider variety of sounds.
Most things are possible with the right combination.
The type of Synthesis I use is Additive mostly, I rarely use subtractive synthesis.
