Even if it's not your most sensitive area, I believe the pits would be the worst place to get tickled, even if it's just a tease. This would be mainly because of the idea that they're easily defensible - just close your shoulders and nobody can get to 'em. When you're unable to do even that, and your tormenter exploits this, that's when it would really hit home that you're completely at their mercy, or lack thereof, with absolutely no way out. The ticklee would start to go mad before a minute with this knowledge, as they wonder what kind of insanity-inducing torment their captors had waiting for them...if they didn't particularly enjoy getting it, that is. xD
