Hey there folks, lifes been hell lately so I've done what I alway do to cheer myself up... make a new character! >,< sorry people I owe comissions to! I'll get right back on them I promise!
Anyway meet my new Wailord girl Lum. I have plans for her so expect a story or two coming soon <w< ... after I finish a few more comissions of course DX Sorry again!

Nicknames: Ass of Doom, Wrecking Ball Butt, The Great Blue Streak, Jiggles
Gender: Female
Species: Wailord
Age: 18
Height: 9’6”
Weight: SWEET MERCIFUL HEAVENS!!!
Personality:
Sweet, cheerful, perky, energetic, optimistic, friendly, etc. Lum is a ton and a half of good-natured cheerfulness that not only wants to meet but to also make friends with everybody. Her overeager affection and friendliness tends to scare people though… mostly due to the fact that she’s bigger and stronger than most of the average mon she meets seems to constantly slip Lum’s mind. Because of this Lum tends to come off as naïve and dim-witted but in truth it’s more being oblivious to the fact she makes people uncomfortable. She’s actually decently intelligent (at least enough not to be called stupid) but she just doesn’t seem to notice the negative reactions she gets from others and if she does it gets easily brushed off by her overly positive attitude. Despite being a skipping bag of rainbows attitude wise Lum is also incredibly competitive and incredibly ruthless in the ring… without losing her smile and chipper attitude. This further helps to scare people off. Oddly enough when she does lose her temper she starts pouting and acting like a child instead of the wall destroying rage that people tend to expect from her… not that she’s any less dangerous since she stops trying to be “Gentle” with others when she’s angry.
History:
The eldest daughter to a Walrein banker father and a Wailord high-profile lawyer mother Lum grew up not wanting for much… though she rarely saw her parents. They loved their daughters but were staunch workers and spent most of their time providing for her. Instead she was usually being cared for by a family friend who happened to be a retired pro-leaguer. From an early age Lum grew up listening to his stories about the pro-leagues and the glory of the arena and became enamored with it, growing to become a battle fanatic who loved the pro-leagues, pro-leaguers, training, arena matches, sparring, and everything else. Her parents were slightly off put by this but did their best to nurture their daughters dream… while they were around anyway.
Lum’s school life was mostly uneventful since she was sent to the best academy’s in Hoenn that money could afford and she was happy there… though relatively friendless due to her oddities. One incident though ended up earning her a laundry list of nicknames, a reputation, and ended up getting her held back a grade after her mom negotiated the school out of expelling her. Early evolution is a trait on both sides of Lum’s family but when it happened to her she was on school campus… as she gained several feet in height, large curves, and a lot of mass effectively ripping through her clothes and leaving her nude. Too excited to realize what had happened to her clothing she proceeded to run around school campus cheering about how she evolved and accidentally wrecking things with her new found girth. Naturally the school was no amused though a large number of students were… and then some.
The next dramatic turn in her life happened after her twin siblings were born. Her parent’s marriage, which had been on the rocks for several years, broke up and ended in a rather unceremonious divorce where Lum and her baby siblings ended up with their mother. Due to how rarely she saw either of her parents this didn’t affect her too badly. Not too long afterwards her mother’s main law office relocated to Viridian and the family followed with it. They managed to find a decent house that was their size (a harder standard to meet than you’d think) in a nice neighborhood and were soon settling down and getting to know their neighbors (including a nice ursarang and abomasnow couple and their kids across the street) as Lum prepared for what had long been a dream of hers. Now entering the PCA as a junior she’s ready to show the best battle academy around what she can do! And hopefully her nicknames from her old school won’t follow.

Sophmore: Rest, Snore, Sleep Talk, Water Spout
Junior: Bounce, Amnesia, Heavy Slam, Waterfall
Senior: Bulldoze, Scald, Attract, Echoed Voice (still learning these moves)
Fighting Style:
Lum’s style can be summed up in a single sentence “Squish them” and it’s a tactic she does quite well due to her sheer size, weight, and the fact all the training she’s done over the years lets her move around with it effectively. Her main strategy is 1) get close 2) flatten opponent with her body mass using Body Slam, Bounce, and/or Heavy Slam 3) repeat as needed. It’s not rocket science but it tends to work. If that fails she fall back on her water moves to flood the arena and her opponent with them. Lum’s secondary strategy involves using Amnesia and Defense Curl to boost her defense then either using Rest to make her even harder to defeat or going into a Rollout dramatically increasing her speed as well as turning her into a rolling ball of doom. Unfortunately despite all her strength her unbolstered defenses are too weak to stand up to onslaughts of any super effective moves meaning she has to rely on Rest more often than she likes.
Miscellaneous Facts:
- Is an incredibly picky eater who refuses to eat anything too mild, sour, or bitter and tends to be overly critical of any food that doesn't suit her pallet. She does love spicy and sweet food though and tends to be a glutton whenever she gets the chance.
- Dotes on her little siblings, partially due to her mother leaving her in charge of them whenever possible due to her work, and tends to be overly sweet to little kids and babies… though if only due to the fact she’ll consciously manage her strength around them to keep from accidentally harming them.
- Loooooooooves to swim and often incorporates it into her training regiment, training underwater while holding her breath… which means she can go about ten to fifteen minutes without surfacing. The fact their new home had a pool was its biggest selling point in her mind. She loves the water enough her last summer job was as an assistant lifeguard at a public pool… though a group of guys wouldn’t stop staring at her in her swimsuit for reasons she has yet to figure out.
- Lum has an absolutely magical singing voice which she freely shares with the world whenever she feels like singing. Like traditional whale sound it’s haunting and travels far but there’s a soft sweetness to the wordless music that’s hard to describe… but the thought of singing professionaly never occurred to Lum and she’d likely turn down the job offer if it was made. She prefers to sing just for fun.

Yikes, over nine feet tall? That must make life awfully difficult; what with low doorframes and such. Plus, no doubt most people'd be just terrified of her; teachers and students alike. It's no wonder she's a bit of a storm in the arena; really. Still, I'm sure some would appreciate her company; assuming it doesn't involve her being a bit too over-affectionate or, more to the point; forceful about her affection. Though admittedly if that were the circumstances I would think that anyone else wouldn't really have a choice in whether they recieved her affections or not; given her strength.
<w< her mom's even taller (and curvier) then her actually... and she's used to the world being a bit too small for her. As for people being scared of her? Well she's never really noticed... and nope, if she wants to hug or cuddle you your choice is A) Stuggle futily, or B) Just take it X3
