Yes, I had put a good effort here, I have used some technique in using colored pencil to give some definition in drawing him. Yes, you see his backside, but back then, I was not ready to draw his front yet. I had to do exactly how I could see him, and I got this result. I was able to also do the logo of Major League Lacrosse (left) and the San Francisco Dragons' logo (right). The form was great, and I rank it as a 5.0/6.
I liked this dragon a lot, and I was happy to see him whenever he appears at games. When I showed this draw to him, he liked it and signed it! I took a few pictures of him and me and I even made a video of him on youTube, but now, the pictures and this draw are all for naught; I tore the pictures and took down the video .
During the 2009 economic crisis, the MLL and its franchises folded many teams- this one, LA Riptide, Philadelphia Barrage, New Jersey Pride, and Rochester Rattlers (<-- They have reestablished their team in 2011.) It made me very sad that the Dragons are gone because I had a chance to be in lacrosse, but now there are fewer teams and less opportunities for me to play pro-so I gave up. This draw is a sad reminder of me giving up the game I loved.
