I saw a stunning photo of a harpy eagle (I think?) On tumblr and was totally fascinated by the colors: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m.....dvnyo1_500.jpg They seem like very "lunar" colors to me.
I wanted to focus more on the colors rather than drawing an eagle anthro~ Maybe I'll develop this character more. ^_^
