A bit of seasonal Flash fiction for those lovers of dark, autumn nights out there. Jayden, and his walk home, came to me while visiting with
Seph for his house-warming in Milwaukee. This is a bit of a horror story, really, and I hope it tickles that part of your brain that it does in mine.
Happy Samhain, Happy Hallowe'en, everyone!

I just got "Could not open this filetype". I get that a lot with written submissions on Fur Affinity. Do you have any idea what to do about that? In case it helps to know, this computer I'm using (it's my Dad's) runs Windows XP. My own computer is down with a bad motherboard now, and it also ran XP. I plan to both fix it and get a new one.
Well, that's what Fur Affinity prints out when it cannot open and extract the file's contents. In short, any file other than a .txt file gets that result.
All you have to do is click on the word "Download" just above the text "Could not open this filetype". Writers, such as myself, who use formatting like bold or italics will frequently use .doc, .docx, or .rtf when uploading files. This means that the file cannot be displayed in the information section of the page and, instead, is only available for download.
Try this:
1. Scroll up to the text "File type: Rich Text File (.rtf) [Download]".
2. Click on the text "Download".
3. See if that works for you to download the file.
4. An .rtf file should be openable by just about any word processor program or Google Drive/Docs.
Tell me if that works for you, okay? :)

Sylvan Scott
