STRONG is a comic collaboration between myself and
Myenia, done for the 24/24 comic challenge. The challenge is to create a 24-page-long comic in 24 hours. I began at 6 PM EST on 10/19/12, and ended at 6 PM EST on 10/20/12. Myenia began one hour later than me, beginning and ending at 7 PM EST.
Each page of this comic was done in approximately an hour. There was no prep work, no script, and doing any kind of layout ahead of time was not allowed. It was thumbnailed, drawn, and written on the fly, for 24 hours straight. Myenia and I kept in contact via instant messenger and phone to collaborate on details. I handled writing and linework, she did the beautiful color.
This was easily the most enduring, stressful, and physically taxing artistic trial of my life, but it was a HELL of an experience! I hope y'all enjoy it.

I don't think there's much prequel to be had for Cinder, and it sounds like Ember's backstory was summed up a few pages ago. And a sequel would depend on how this ultimately resolves later today.
As fun as this story has been, I would like to see more Heretic and Red Lantern (and one-offs of Reis&Marcus) than more of this. However, if it begs for a sequel, then so will I! X-D

Well, Ember should have some great story to tell.
I mean, a female untrained in clans fights and hunting, gets there and not only manages to sneak in the warriors group, but becomes an alpha. Yay!
Not to talk of all the uncomfortably funny moments and problems trying not to be noticed...

I think Cinders going to get a boost in confidence that he's sorely lacking.
A lot of his problems seem to be less because he's physically incapable and more dramatically lacking in self confidence and drive.
The specter of him thinking he was a coward as his family was slain. :(
Same thing with Ember. Though whereas Cinder developed low self esteem that affects him, Ember took it a different way in thinking that because she's a female that means she's weak and needs to hide it and compensate for it.
Their both going to get over their fears and grow as individuals though.
