I try my best to keep one sheet with all different expressions, but on accident I've drawn very similar faces on a couple sheets for different people... I do all of these from my head so sometimes my brain recycles expressions/angles if I'm not careful

I like how the character seems to have channeled your style - it still shines through, but the character is also totally recognizable. No hints of canidragons here - ironic, because as a quasi-oriental dragon that's what you'd almost expect XD

His ref looked a lot more lizardy for an eastern dragon, so I tried to make that show XD I am glad he looks like my style and he's still recognizable tho! I suppose that's where my animator training pays off, tho it would have been moreso if I had kept the reference's style

Ahahh yes this is perfect, the reference was very quickly scribbled specifically for this commission but Toros is more lizard-y than canine-y as far as easties go anyway. So, like I said, totally perfect <3

i like em too! i just realized that appreciation was different than representation. scales are cool, but i see myself as a fuzzy thing.
