every friday, there is a local furmeet here. i used to go regularly with a couple friends about 2 years ago or so, but since i had moved, i really had no way to get to and from the meet.
anyway, i try to go as often as possible now that i'm back in town with raccoonoperatedmenace and alistarcat216, and the crowd has grown quite a bit. i enjoy going, but it seems like no matter how often i go, i can never really get myself to feel 100% comfortable with anyone there. it's nothing personal- everyone there is really nice- it's just that my anxiety always tends to get the best of me and it keeps me from talking or really having any fun at all.

i would really like to be able to mingle with the local furs, but i'm just too fucked up i guess.
